Positive Discipline

The hosts' parenting approach is based on Positive Discipline, which is a parenting philosophy originally developed by Jane Nelsen, Ph.D. and based on the Adlerian School of Psychology. Over the years, Dr. Nelsen and Lynn Lott, M.S. co-developed training workshops for parents and teachers on how to utilize PD at home and in the classroom. This parenting philosophy continues to be enriched with the contributions of all the Certified Positive Discipline Associates. For more information about this respectful and empowering philosophy go to the Positive Discipline website or join the PD support group.
